Ronnie will come when you call her and cuddle right up! She is fabulous on the leash. Even though she loves her people and will be a cuddle buddy, she loves to run and plays even with pinecones in the back yard. Ronnie is also a dog that has a gentle soul. There are times you will find her simply sitting outside in any weather in the middle of the yard and sniffing at the sky. For as introspective as she is, she is also can hold her own when playing with her tenacious brother! After your application is approved, the foster parent for the dog you have selected will contact you to answer any questions you may have and determine if that dog is a good match for your family. If you have no particular dog in mind, we will be happy to keep your application on file and notify you if the right dog should come into rescue. Catahoula Rescue of New England is an all-volunteer group. Dogs in our program are fostered by volunteers. The foster homes care for our dogs as if they were their own. All dogs have received vaccinations appropriate to age and are spayed or neutered. Ronnie’s adoption donation is $450 which includes Rabies, DHLPP, Bordetella, fecal test, heartworm test, is on preventative, microchip and neuter depending on age at time of adoption. If the dog is too young for a spay/neuter then they will be adopted with a spay/neuter contract and deposit. We do not have a physical shelter; all our dogs are fostered in individual foster homes across the New England and Canada. |
