He is extremely playful with the other dogs and cats in the home. He would do best without senior animals as he is extremely playful and as for cats when they tell him they don’t want to play – he listens! But even though he can play a little rough at times, when redirected, he’s aware and listens. He loves going for car rides and knows when anyone is leaving, he will usually be the first waiting at the door! He does well on car rides. Everyone that sees him falls in love with him. He will make a great companion, but needs exercise and daily attention, as well as consistency and redirection, when necessary. Brownie loves to play in the yard and when he is ready to come in is one of the few times that he will bark. He will sometimes bark when he senses something or sees the neighbors that are unfamiliar to him. So far, he lets mostly everyone give him pets and love and he sure does give lots of kisses. He knows the command “sit” and knows how to walk on a leash. He would definitely make a great jogging partner. He loves puppuccinos and playing in the water, swimming pool and splashing in puddles. He even jumps in the bathtub! He’s a very smart, loyal puppy and is very observant. He gives constant eye contact and lots of kisses. He can be food aggressive at feeding time, so if it is a muti-dog home, to avoid him guarding all the dog bowls he is fed separately every day in the open style crate. He already knows to go inside and wait for his food bowl. He stays inside the crate until all the other dogs have finished eating or the food is picked up. All dogs have received vaccinations appropriate to age and are spayed or neutered. Brownie’s adoption donation is $300 which includes Rabies, DHLPP, Bordetella, fecal test, heartworm test, is on preventative, microchip and neuter depending on age at time of adoption. We do not have a physical shelter; all of our dogs are fostered in individual foster homes across the New England and Canada. |
