She’s a gorgeous Blue Lacy mix from the south and is such a people pup! She’s approximately 4 years old, has had puppies, and is looking to find her forever home. She’s up to date on her vaccines, spayed, treated for fleas & ticks, and has a lifetime microchip. She walks really well on leash. She would love to have a fenced in area so she could get some energy out but is perfectly happy to take a stroll with her harness and leash. She can be a couch potato and then get the zoomies when she’s excited. She loves toys! She doesn’t chew on things she’s not supposed to. She’s housebroken and does well when crated during the day with a Kong and a little bit of peanut butter. She would do best in a home without cats or small dogs. She plays well with dogs more her size after an acclimation period so everyone can get to know each other! She’s got a lot of energy (and love to give!) so older kids would be ideal (she may knock over the very little ones) but she would love to have a family because she really loves to be near people. She has a big appetite and responds really well to treat training, she’s very smart so she picks up on things fast. She’s been such a sweet girl to foster, and I really want to find her the forever home she deserves! If she sounds like a good fit for you, please reach out to Catahoula Rescue of New England on how to proceed. Holly is excited to meet you! If you are interested in adopting, please click at the link below: CRNE Adoption Application: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1rjvYvkyGRug-gnCPcHFB49ksrZlQNlYQddGnkoVvNNA/viewform?fbclid=IwAR1Z3LWcB1HW2pncs-N64t1xdlD6Fm9P137xk6MErsLOE4ObXQ9erCAk-nM&edit_requested=true Once your application has been received and reviewed, you will be contacted via email or phone by one of our volunteers. After your application is approved, the foster parent for the dog you have selected will contact you to answer any questions you may have and determine if that dog is a good match for your family. If you have no particular dog in mind, we will be happy to keep your application on file and notify you if the right dog should come into rescue. Catahoula Rescue of New England is an all-volunteer group. Dogs in our program are fostered by volunteers. The foster homes care for our dogs as if they were their own. All dogs have received vaccinations appropriate to age and are spayed or neutered. Holly’s adoption donation is $500 which includes Rabies, DHLPP, Bordetella, fecal test, heartworm test, is on preventative, microchip and Spay/Neuter depending on age at time of adoption. If the dog is too young for a spay/neuter, then they will be adopted with a spay/neuter contract and $100 deposit. We do not have a physical shelter; all our dogs are fostered in individual foster homes across the New England and Canada. |
