Annie is a 1-year-old cattle dog mix with a big personality and an even bigger heart! This beautiful girl is full of energy, always ready for playtime, adventures, and learning new things. One of her absolute favorite activities is playing fetch — she could happily chase a ball for hours!
 
She’s wonderfully playful and affectionate, and after a good romp she turns into a total cuddle bug who loves being close to her people. Annie already knows “sit” and is doing great with her training. She also sleeps through the night in her crate, making her an easy and well-mannered house guest.
 
Annie does great with other dogs, does well with dog-savvy cats, and would likely be a wonderful match for a home with older, respectful kids. She would thrive in an active home that enjoys walks, playtime, and continuing her training.

Once your application has been received and reviewed, you will be contacted via email or phone by one of our volunteers. After your application is approved, the foster parent for the dog you have selected will contact you to answer any questions you may have and determine if that dog is a good match for your family.

If you have no particular dog in mind, we will be happy to keep your application on file and notify you if the right dog should come into rescue. Catahoula Rescue of New England is an all-volunteer group. Dogs in our program are fostered by volunteers. The foster homes care for our dogs as if they were their own. All dogs have received vaccinations appropriate to age and are spayed or neutered.

Annie’s adoption donation is $500 which includes Rabies, DHLPP, Bordetella, fecal test, heartworm test, is on preventative, microchip and Spay/Neuter depending on age at time of adoption. If the dog is too young for a spay/neuter, then they will be adopted with a spay/neuter contract and $100 deposit. We do not have a physical shelter; all our dogs are fostered in individual foster homes across the New England and Canada.
