This blue-eyed beauty is Wrigley! Wrigley is an extremely affectionate lover of all tennis balls, major snuggle-bug, and overall goofball. He enjoys going for long walks in the neighborhood, taking afternoon slumbers in the sun, and rolling over for a serious belly-rub.
Wrigley is looking for a loving home with owners who understand the ins and outs of what comes with his Catahoula breed. This means high energy, intelligent, and working tendencies. He also needs a patient family that is willing to put in a little extra time with him to adapt to his hearing impairment. Because of his disability, Wrigley relies extra on his sense of smell and looks to his human(s) for cues (he has learned quite a few hand signals already). Despite this minor impairment, Wrigley learns extremely fast and is always eager to please (especially with a treat in sight)!
If you’re looking for a lovable lap-dog, a fanatic fetcher, or a committed compadre, Wrigley is your guy!
If you are interested in adopting Wrigley, please email email@example.com and request an application. Once your application has been received and reviewed, you will be contacted via email or phone by one of our volunteers. After your application is approved, the foster parent for the dog you have selected will contact you to answer any questions you may have and determine if that dog is a good match for your family.
If you have no particular dog in mind, we will be happy to keep your application on file and notify you if the right dog should come into rescue. Catahoula Rescue of New England is an all-volunteer group. Dogs in our program are fostered by volunteers. The foster homes care for our dogs as if they were their own. All dogs have received vaccinations appropriate to age and are spayed or neutered.
Wrigley’s adoption donation is $400 which includes Rabies, DHLPP, Bordetella, fecal test, heartworm test when appropriate and is on preventative, microchip, and neuter. We do not have a physical shelter, all of our dogs are fostered in individual foster homes across the New England and Canada.
