Taddy is a 4 1/2 year old Catahoula Leopard dog mix that was rescued from the south. He is 75 pounds of energy, excitement and curiosity. Taddy knows basic commands and is very motivated by rewards, treats specifically! Taddy loves playing hide and seek with his people and he also loves finding hidden cookies. Taddy loves walks and hiking and would also enjoy having a dog brother and/or sister to play with every day. He can be quite guarded with new people entering his “home” however, he is very loving to those he gets to know well. He is a total cuddle bug.
If you are interested in adopting Taddy please email firstname.lastname@example.org and request an application. Once your application has been received and reviewed, you will be contacted via email or phone by one of our volunteers. After your application is approved, the foster parent for the dog you have selected will contact you to answer any questions you may have and determine if that dog is a good match for your family.
If you have no particular dog in mind, we will be happy to keep your application on file and notify you if the right dog should come into rescue. Catahoula Rescue of New England is an all-volunteer group. Dogs in our program are fostered by volunteers. The foster homes care for our dogs as if they were their own. All dogs have received vaccinations appropriate to age and are spayed or neutered.
Taddy's adoption donation is $350 which includes Rabies, DHLPP, Bordetella, fecal test, heartworm test when appropriate and is on preventative, microchip, and neuter. We do not have a physical shelter, all of our dogs are fostered in individual foster homes across the New England and Canada.
