Stella may not look it, but she is a purebred Catahoula Leopard Dog. At this young age she is super smart and highly energetic. She loves to snuggle as well! She loves to run and chase her toys. Like most Houlas she likes to be part of the action and included in all activities! This young girl is ready for additional training and leadership. She has unlimited potential and will make a wonderful pet for an experienced, loving, Catahoula owner.
If you are interested in adopting Stella, visit our website and download the application: http://www.nehoularescue.com/adoption-application.html Once your application has been received and reviewed, you will be contacted via email or phone by one of our volunteers. After your application is approved, the foster parent for the dog you have selected will contact you to answer any questions you may have and determine if that dog is a good match for your family.
If you have no particular dog in mind, we will be happy to keep your application on file and notify you if the right dog should come into rescue. Catahoula Rescue of New England is an all-volunteer group. Dogs in our program are fostered by volunteers. The foster homes care for our dogs as if they were their own. All dogs have received vaccinations appropriate to age and are spayed or neutered.
Stella’s adoption donation is $350 which includes Rabies, DHLPP, Bordetella, fecal test, heartworm test when appropriate and is on preventative, microchip, and neuter. We do not have a physical shelter, all of our dogs are fostered in individual foster homes across the New England and Canada.
