Shale loves his big brother Beans who is like a mythological giant compared to him! They are playing like brothers and Shale has no idea he is just a pup. He is learning a lot from his big brother. This little fella is deaf and does has some sight issues, but is very determined to get past them and be all the dog he can be! He has ton of potential with the right person and with patience. He is currently fostered with two dogs and two cats.
If you are interested in adopting Shale please email firstname.lastname@example.org and request an application. Once your application has been received and reviewed, you will be contacted via email or phone by one of our volunteers. After your application is approved, the foster parent for the dog you have selected will contact you to answer any questions you may have and determine if that dog is a good match for your family.
If you have no particular dog in mind, we will be happy to keep your application on file and notify you if the right dog should come into rescue. Catahoula Rescue of New England is an all-volunteer group. Dogs in our program are fostered by volunteers. The foster homes care for our dogs as if they were their own. All dogs have received vaccinations appropriate to age and are spayed or neutered.
Shale's adoption donation is $400 which includes Rabies, DHLPP, Bordetella, fecal test, heart worm test when appropriate and is on preventative, and microchip.
Shale is currently too young to be neutered and will be going with a Spay/Neuter Contract and this requires a refundable deposit. As soon as you provide proof of neuter.
