What a hunk of love this boy is! Moose is a very sweet and playful 1 year old Catahoula Leopard Hound Dog mix. He is cuddly and lovey and end enjoys snuggling on the couch, playing with his foster siblings and chasing balls. Moose is great with people, and super easy going with other dogs. When he isn’t playing or cuddling he enjoys sleeping and is a very chill dude.
He is about full grown at 70lbs. He would be a wonderful addition to any family with or without other dogs. He is good in the crate and in the house. He would love to have lots of toys and bones around and a fenced in yard to run around in. He does still have puppy tendencies and will need some obedience and leash work. He is very smart and eager to learn. He is as handsome as they come! Moose is awaiting to meet his furever person/family!
If you are interested in adopting Moose, please email email@example.com and request an application. Once your application has been received and reviewed, you will be contacted via email or phone by one of our volunteers. After your application is approved, the foster parent for the dog you have selected will contact you to answer any questions you may have and determine if that dog is a good match for your family.
If you have no particular dog in mind, we will be happy to keep your application on file and notify you if the right dog should come into rescue. Catahoula Rescue of New England is an all-volunteer group. Dogs in our program are fostered by volunteers. The foster homes care for our dogs as if they were their own. All dogs have received vaccinations appropriate to age and are spayed or neutered.
Moose’s adoption donation is $400 which includes Rabies, DHLPP, Bordetella, fecal test, heartworm test when appropriate and is on preventative, microchip, and neuter. We do not have a physical shelter, all of our dogs are fostered in individual foster homes across the New England and Canada.
