Atlas is a handsome fella.  He has a beautiful brindle coat with four white paws that makes it looks like he is wearing little socks! This super sweet boy knows how to sit and has been on leash regularly, but he does need more work.  He has some anxiety, and he likes to have a schedule.

After your application is approved, the foster parent for the dog you have selected will contact you to answer any questions you may have and determine if that dog is a good match for your family.

If you have no particular dog in mind, we will be happy to keep your application on file and notify you if the right dog should come into rescue. Catahoula Rescue of New England is an all-volunteer group. Dogs in our program are fostered by volunteers. The foster homes care for our dogs as if they were their own. All dogs have received vaccinations appropriate to age and are spayed or neutered.

Atlas’s adoption donation is $450 which includes Rabies, DHLPP, Bordetella, fecal test, heartworm test, is on preventative, microchip and neuter. We do not have a physical shelter; all of our dogs are fostered in individual foster homes across the New England and Canada.
